Barcelona city guide

As promised a couple of posts ago, I am sharing some of the hot spots I discovered on my recent trip to Barcelona and some tips on what to do.

The city is amazing, so it is hard to cover everything and since you will surely find many guides that tell you to visit the highlights of the city: Basilica of the Sagrada familia, Montjuic, Las Ramblas, Park Guel, etc.,( and you should surely do so) I am just going to concentrate on the alternative options and the food and drinks :)

  • Stroll around the city: Barcelona streets have a lot of charm, you can easily spend hours just looking at the architecture and visiting the many cool vintage clothing stores, boutiques, coffee places and bars. My favourite neighbourhoods are El Gotic and El born.

A touch of red

Wearing: MANGO red sandals, H&M girlfriend jeans and blue button down shirt, vintage silk scarf

Spring is finally here! It is so invigorating to finally see the weather changing, for good. Seven months of long winter is really too much! But anyway, that seems to be a thing of the past and I am filled with energy. The splash of red in this outfit is just perfect to symbolize the energy that the good weather brings to me. I am so looking forward to the sunny days, Amsterdam is especially charming in the summer. I am longing for the days in the park, the afternoons after work enjoying the sun, the festivals ... oh! I am just daydreaming over here.  SO now that the days are long and bright, I am ready for the light shirts, bare legs, and open shoes. I've had these ones from MANGO from months already, back at the beginning of March, when I was in Mexico I could actually wear them. I hope in a couple of days I am able to show them off here :)

So excited!

You guys have no idea how excited and happy I am. I am going to be in my beloved Mexico in a few days. I am not only excited because I will be seeing family and friends but because I also have some projects from work, I love opening new doors and love when everything just kind of falls into place.

Good weather, good food, great people... can't wait!!!!

PS. These pics are from last year, around this time of the year in Mexico, looking back made me miss my long hair!
