Barcelona city guide

As promised a couple of posts ago, I am sharing some of the hot spots I discovered on my recent trip to Barcelona and some tips on what to do.

The city is amazing, so it is hard to cover everything and since you will surely find many guides that tell you to visit the highlights of the city: Basilica of the Sagrada familia, Montjuic, Las Ramblas, Park Guel, etc.,( and you should surely do so) I am just going to concentrate on the alternative options and the food and drinks :)

  • Stroll around the city: Barcelona streets have a lot of charm, you can easily spend hours just looking at the architecture and visiting the many cool vintage clothing stores, boutiques, coffee places and bars. My favourite neighbourhoods are El Gotic and El born.
